Culinary Adventures in the Chinese House: A Quick Recipe for Glory

I am not Chinese, and only some of the food here is, but I do recognize the superiority of Chinese food and its ability to fix just about anything that is wrong with the world.

I did, however, live in foreign language student housing at my university, which means that we were in a normal apartment except for the fact that we were all trying to learn Chinese. We spoke Chinese at home and ate communal dinner 5 nights a week with the Chinese guys' apartment and my language skills improved by leaps and bounds. But mostly just when I talk about food.

That's where this blog began - in the humble Chinese House. It then followed me to an internship in Taiwan, back to the Chinese House where I met a male counterpart, and now we are living in Mainland China for a year. Why would we do such a thing? To continue our culinary adventures, of course!
